WASCA - Industry representation
WASCA represents the interests of Contractors and the Wool Harvesting Industry on the following Committees and Organisations:

- Agricultural Industry Safety Advisory Committee (AISAC) and various Safety Sub Committees - WorkSafe WA
- Working Committee - Safety and Health in Shearing Guidelines
- Wool Council - WA Farmers Federation
- Agriculture Committee - WA Primary Industry Training Advisory Council (WAPITC)
- WA Industrial Commission - Award variations and rate negotiations
- AWI WA Project Advisory Panal (WAPAP)
By providing critical industry reprentation and consultation on critical industry issues, WASCA is better able to provide effective and timely information to members and the industry and WASCA is able to more effectively gain industry feedback and influence the decision making processes appropriately, relative to industry and member businesses.
Our goal is to achieve benefits for members and the industry through effective
lobbying and appropriate public relations and media exposure and topromote the positive
developments in the industry to combat negative publicity from a variety
of community pressure groups.
